Introduction to Bible Reading and Meditation

For four weeks we will practice the disciplines of bible reading and meditation together. These two practices are closely linked, because the object of our mediation is God, and God is revealed through the Scriptures. When we read Scripture, we are giving ourselves the opportunity to think deeply about our God, Yahweh. Set aside time each day to read and meditate upon the book of Matthew. I will be doing it with you. You can do it! I believe in you!

Instructions:
• Spend time each day reading from this reading plan. We will do it together.
• Spend time each day meditating on what you have read. I’ve included some helpful questions below.
• In four weeks, answer the prompt at ltdlevel2project.forumotion.com, and respond to three other posts that have been shared by other level 2’s.

How does this text challenge or shape what I believe about God?
